Latest Blunder

Jerry broke his left fibula bone by his ankle. He had to have surgery and we thought it would be an in and out thing. He had a bracket and a couple of screws put in and they had to keep him over night because, he was showing signs of sleep apnea from the anesthesia. He was in a lot of pain the first couple of days after surgery. He is doing better now. He goes back to the doctor on the 17th. to have the incision checked and a harder cast put on for 4 weeks. Then he will get that taken off and a walking cast for another 2-3 weeks.

Why does stuff like this happen around the holidays?

OUCH! Dan broke his ankle first week in Iraq. And he will need surgery when he returns from the deployment. Then the day before my c-section I tripped on our stairs and hurt my ankle. Nothing serious for me. But what is it with ankle injuries? Not fun! Tell Jerry we say have a speedy recovery!!!!

And yes, tis the season. For some reason the holidays bring a little more "excitement" each year.
